SuperDrive and 80mm Disc

Does the SuperDrive on the MacBook work with an 80mm disc? I read on the site that it works with some slot-loading drives but it didn't say which ones.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Do NOT put anything other than a standard sized Cd/DVD into your optical drive. You may find that you cannot get it out if you do.

Below the pictures on the link you provided it says that some computers can support round 80mm discs. I'm wondering if the MacBook can even though it's not recommended. I would like to be able to do this because my camcorder doesn't have a firewire port so I can't use it with iMovie without doing this.

While computers with tray loading optical drives can accept 8cm discs the slot load optical drive in your MacBook CANNOT accept 8cm discs.

Probably your best option is to go out and buy a cheap external CD/DVD drive.
