My Apple tv shows only two

When i turn on my Apple tv device, there's only two choice. Home sharing network and controlls. I have'nt use my Apple tv for a while, but when I used it last time there where so many icons i could chose, like netflix, youtube, nba, and so on. now it only shows does two icons i listed. and my apple tv use like forever to adjust time an date. What is wrong?
