Q: Mirroring is enabled but not playing on the laptop simultaneously with HDTV

AirPlay mirroring is enabled and appears to be working - the iTunes movie plays on the TV through AppleTV and mirroring is blue and technically functioning on my laptop, but the screen is black and doesn't mirror what's playing on the TV, even though all the icons and setting appear that it should be.

This same problem is with me to so can anyone be kind enough to solve this issue.
