I am trying to use my iPad with Airplay on my TV. When I attempt to link up with TV a code appears on the screen. Where and how do I input the code?
iPad 2, iOS 4.3.3
Setup Apple TV with iPad
1. Setup Apple TV
(a) Connect cables and power cord
(b) Turn on TV and select Input
(c) Configure Apple TV
2. Setup Home Sharing on iPad
Settings>Music/Video>Home Sharing
3. Setup Home Sharing on Apple TV
Settings>Computer>Turn on Home Sharing. Enter Apple ID and Password
4. Pair Apple TV with Remote Control
General>Remotes>Pair Apple Remote
Enable AirPlay on iPad
To AirPlay video or photo content to your Apple TV
1. Connect your iOS device and Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Videos, Safari or Photos app on your device.
3. Locate and tap the AirPlay icon (if attempting to AirPlay video content from Safari or Videos, begin playback first).
4. Select your Apple TV from the list of available devices that appears and begin playback.
Suggest you update your IOS to 6.1.3
Having same issue on iPhone 5 - hit air play icon and code comes up on TV screen but keypad won't pop up on phone to allow me to enter air play code.
Trying to use airplay from my iPad to my TV.........when airplay code comes on screen how do I input the number on my iPad?
