Hand writing Chinese with Magic Mouse? OR Trackpad only?

I am using an iMac with Magic mouse and I could not find the Handwriting Chinese function! Do I have to get a trackpad to enable the hadwriting function?

If yes, Can I have both magic mouse and the trackpad working at the same time?
