Can I manually select a printer driver and update it?

Apple support lists version 2.0.2 as the most recent driver for my HP PSC 2410xi, but I have version 2.0.1 installed and it won't update to version 2.0.2. I'm trying to update, because I'm currently able to print but my scanner is not responding.
