Q: APP store error " your purchase could not be completed"

I'm receiving an error " your purchase could not be completed"any asks that I contact support at itunes...( at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/. ) this is happening on my laptop on itunes and on my iphone(app and itunes app). Free apps download fine but fee apps get this error. I check my credit card info associated with my itunes account and it looked fine but deleted it and re-entered it. any help?

    Had the same problem after upgrading to iTunes 11.0.5.  Could download free apps no problem but the paid for apps would generate that same error.  Called Apple Support and spoke to a senior advisor.  She had me turn off the Firewall (even though iTunes was 'allowed') and restart.  That fixed the problem.  She said you don't need the firewall on anyway.  Not sure I agree with that but that's what she said...
