Problem with BOOTCAMP.


Device : MacBook Air 13.3 inch mid 2013 , Base model.


OS : OS X 10.8.4 {Latest aug 25}


Bootcamp ver : Don't know.


Bootcamp Drivers ver : 5.00xx { Latest aug 25}

Problem : After installing win 7 x64. Mouse and Keyboard don't work.


I know it is a driver Problem.


BUT : Is it possible to install drivers during the OS installation process.

Other solutions please.

Just my two cents.

If you are correct and it makes sense that you are - driver problem.

Apple does not disclose manufacturer of parts, so if install image file didn't contain those drivers, you can't really find those, integrating in image then is out.

So to that question " Is it possible to install drivers during the OS installation process."

I don't think so.


What I would do if I were in your shoes, go to Microsoft updates and see if they pick correct drivers for you - check for updates and look at hardware drivers yourself. Assuming you can use any usb mouse at that time.


Sorry if that does not work, I got no other ideas, but I am probably the worst guy here anyway.
