Help With My MacApps GiftCard Pleeease

I've got a mac apps giftcard as part of the student discount purchase. I've redeemed the £70 and it's credited my account but when i go to download something it asks fora payment method instead of taking it off my credit HELP, WHAT DO I DO?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

It is asking as part of the security protocols in place to protect your account. If available you can choose the None option.
