imprint left on screen

Hello...

I downloaded a document (class schedule chart) created in an unkown (to me) format — I suspect Publisher. It has left an "ghost, imprint" on my screen. I've tried closing applications, re-starting the computer and have deleted the document from my files without any success. Any advice?
