iPhone 4 front camera issues

Everytime I try to open my front camera it stays locked on the shutter screen, will not let my switch to the back camera and will not open. The lower right of the screen where the slider is for the camera or camcorder glitches, but will let me slid it. I don't understand why it isn't working, I haven't dropped it or changed the way I used it, but it seemed to have just went out all of a sudden. I preformed the restart, reset, restore and it didn't help me at all. So I ended up reseting and deleting the whole phone and is still having the same issue. Other than the front camera issue the phone works perfectly! Can anyone please help?
