how do i move pictures to iPhoto?

If I download photos from my camera or iPhone, they automatically go to iPhoto. However, if I get them emailed, I save them to documents, but don't know how to move them over to iPhoto. Probably very easy.

Also, how do I attach a photo to an email or file online from iPhoto? I was trying to post a picture to a photo album online, and cannot figure out how to make this happen.

Thank you for your help.

To copy the photos to iPhoto, just drag them into the iPhoto library window once it's open. (Drag them to the main Library in the left hand panel of iPhoto). Note that this copies them, it doesn't delete the originals, so you may wish to manually trash the original copies once they're in iPhoto and backed up.

iPhoto has several plugins to sharing sites built in (Flickr, Facebook), so once you set up those accounts in iPhoto preferences, you can use the Share menu to share that way. Or, to email, one way is just to drag an image, or multiple images, into a Mail message. You can then set the file size of the images in the message window to avoid sending an email that's too huge.
