Remaining credits on app store

Do App Store credits expire? I bought a $25 gift card ~3 months ago just to purchase 3 certain apps that I needed... And I currently have a couple of dollars left which I haven't used since my last purchase... That's the gist of my situation... I don't know if I should be worried or not, but I still am...

So, if it (the App Store credits) does expire, someone please let me know how long the validity of it is, so i won't let the remaining credits go to waste... Thanks

I have an old backer from a gift card but I could find no information on the card that said anything at all about an expiration date. Really such a simple question and it is so hard to find definitive information about it.

My advice would be to not go beyond two years of the date of thenlastbtime that you used the card. In other words, if you use the card today, make sure that you use the balance withing two years of today.

Never. I am sure of it. I have carried a balance for months at a time and my credits have never expired. Check your balance like I suggested.

App Store gift card credits never expire. You can check your balance in the App Store. Tap on the featured tab and swipe to the bottom of the screen. If you are signed into your Apple ID, your account balance will appear there.

Never ever ever? Coz at the moment I don't have any purchases to make... I don't even think I'll be making purchases some time soon... And I'm really scared and will really feel bad if my credits did just go to zero just because of inactivity or something of that sort...

I always check my balance whenever I browse into the App Store, and yes, so far it hasn't changed since my last purchase... I do hope it doesn't... What was the longest time you held balance?

Offhand I would say about 5 months. As far as I know, they never expire, but I cannot find any documentation of this online right now.
