Q: mac os10.8 and HP P1102w printer not working

Trying to set up a MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion (Mac OS10.8) to work with a brand new HP P1102w printer over a secured university wireless network. Prefer to just use the USB connection to print, but HP sites says the drivers are not yet available for Mountain Lion, any suggestions?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Your specific printer model may be encompassed by these, so I'd suggest trying the troubleshooting steps in this article to download and install the drivers via Software Update:
