Need to install system 10 on a ca. 1999 clamshell. I have system 10 ca. 2007 10.3 from my mac book pro. Can I use that or what are my options?
You need to buy a retail Mac OS X 10.4.11 or earlier DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay. Additional work is needed to install 10.4 on it; the newest OS version designed for it is 10.3.9.
