Aug 26, 2013 12:28 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby papillondefer,Hi,
Thanks for that, but it's not helping me as I don;t wish to delete photos and I don't want to manually select them. On my windows laptop there was the option to recognise and import only new Photos which was really slick and I had no duplicates and I was in control of what I deleted (I prefer to delete manually so I can select what I'd like to keep on my phone camera role) Its this recognise and import only new Photos which I am really struggling to find between the MacBook Pro and the iPhone 5.
Any more help you can offer now I have explained in greater detail. It's soooooo frustrating
I do really appreciate the above so thank you.
Regards
Jo

Mac OS XI don't own any iOS devices, so the only suggestion I can make is that you post in the iPhone forum -> https://discussions.apple.com/community/iphone/using_iphone.
That's where the iPhone experts hang out - and I'm sure that you'll find the answer to your query there.
Good luck,
Clinton
