Starting MacBook Pro is slow (SystemUIServer)

Hi All,


My MacBook Pro starts very slow. I found one cause to be Time Machine, but I also found the entires below in the log.


Does anyone know what this is, why it happens en how I can fix it?

Aug 26 07:33:13 MacBook-Pro-van-Emiel.local WindowServer[79]: CGXDisableUpdate: UI updates were forcibly disabled by application "SystemUIServer" for over 1.00 seconds. Server has re-enabled them.

Hi ...


Open Activity Monitor located in HD > Applications > Utilities


Type SystemUIServer in the search field top right corner of that window.


Select the process name then click Force Quit.



Restart your Mac.



If that doesn't help, remove all items from System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items


Same for HD > Library > StartupItems


Then restart your Mac one more time.
