Your FaceTime password should be the password that is associated with your Apple ID. You use your ID in order to activate FaceTime so if you want to change that password, you have to change your Apple ID password. You may have to sign out of your ID after you change the password in Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID and then sign in again in order to have FaceTime accept the password.
