Black screen after installing Bootcamp drivers

Hi, I recently did a clean installation of Windows XP on my iMac. When the installation finished, I inserted the Snow Leopard disk to install the Bootcamp drivers. When asked to restart, I agreed, and when my computer booted back into Windows, all I could see was a black screen. Windows had initialized properly, as I could hear the startup sound, and I could also properly turn it off by tapping the power button momentarily. I've done this twice, so I know it's not a random error. Also, I had installed bootcamp previously on the same computer, using the same Windows and Snow Leopard disk. Suggestions?
