Why doesn't my Game Center update?

When I unlock achievements on some apps (e.g. Dumb ways to die, Mrs Pacman, Doodle Jump, Rubik's cube, etc.), it doesn't update on Game Center. According to Game Center, I've never played 5 of the games I have, but I've been playing them almost every day! How am I supposed to overtake friends in Game Center when I can't get any points? Please help,
