Aug 26, 2013 4:46 PM in response to geo5020by Russ H,Apple has moved on from Firewire and the current iMacs (and most MBPs) have Thunderbolt, USB3 and USB2.
There are Firewire toThunderbolt adaptors. Here's one. You also want a four pin to nine pin FW cable to run from your camera to the adaptor.
