You can either manually migrate or use Windows Migration Assistant. I'd like to direct you to two articles - the first one here will go over generally what Windows Migration Assistant is about. For you, I'd skip to the section titled "What gets transferred, and to where?" and then "Email, contacts, and calendar information" so you can read about where you contacts will get moved if you choose the WMA option:
