setting up a new office with Mac enviroment

hey there,

my orginization want to set up a new office witha Mac enviroment. currently we are working on microsoft desktops and servers hosted localy. so now im at a point where the desktops are not a problem, but the servers are, in addition to that i was asked to look into cloud hosted solutions for the servers .i have no idea what im doing since im a fresh graduate.


i need to find out how the Mac enviroment works. Whats required from me in order to se up a succesfull mac enviroment enterprise?

Then try to find a local business that already uses Macs and beg them to be shown around their setup.


There's no real difference between using a Mac for home and using one for business except that you will need a bullet-proof network and it might be an idea to dedicate one machine to running OS X Server:

depending on how big the business is.


As for cloud hosting, there's no real difference between Macs and Windows for that: all the big providers provide both. However, personally I do not trust and would not agree to work with a cloud service for a business yet. You have no control over things and when it doesn't work you just sit there twiddling your thumbs.
