App does not install on my iphone due to waiting

Tapping the app icon should restart the download. If not, delete it and redownload.

The download was interrupted. Tapping th app that says waiting should restart it.
You can try to reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears
If that does not help delete it (hold the app icon until it wiggles, tap the x, delete) the redownload (open App Store app > Updates > Purchased).
