Q: Spotlight Searches

I just got the iphone 5 to replace my iphone4. I have backed up my iphone4 to my computer and I am wondering when I save that backup to my iphone 5 if all messages and including deleted ones will be able to be searched on the iphone 5?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Hello 45ghp

Whatever messages on the iPhone backup will be on your new iPhone if you restore from backup. If you had deleted messages, then they are gone and not part of the back up.
