Trouble exporting all music into iTunes

Having just upgraded to Mac from PC, I have been exporting mp3/4 and wma music files to itunes through Quicktime. I got half way through my music with no trouble when, with no error messages or indications as to why, the files are no longer exporting. Quicktime tells me they have exported but they do not appear on iTunes. Help?

You want to stay away from ANYTHING Sony for your Music. As long as you have the Physical files on your hard drive, iTunes can and should import them. Sony software (regardless of what it is) will attempt to make the files readable ONLY by Sony software once you run it through there.

If you still have the original files on your Mac, and it's still connected to your network, then delete the entire Sony folder on your PC and use FileDrop to re-send the music from your Mac to the PC. Then move it from your downloads folder to your Music folder, and import the files DIRECTLY from iTunes.

Same procedure. Filedrop works either way and with both OS formats. Simply drop your music folder (NOT the Sony MediaGo fodler, but your actual Music folder) from the PC onto the Filedrop window, accept the incoming file on the Mac and let it transfer. It will put the Music folder in your Downloads folder. Just drag it to your Music/iTunes/Media folder from there.

Then in iTunes on the Mac, click File>Add to Library and select the ENTIRE music folder you just moved. All your files with tags and artwork should import just as they were on the PC.
