Auto Purge Folder
Is there a way to set certain folders to autopurge on a daily or weekly schedule? This would be useful for my downloads folder.

If you're comfortable on a command line, I'd recommend reading up on launchd.
Otherwise, you'd need an application like Hazel (I used it back in version 2. Pretty handy and robust, but far more than I needed).
You might be able to do it with an Automator workflow (in your Applications folder) or an AppleScript (in Applications/Utilities), set up to run via a repeating Calendar event.
EDIT: If you're not sure how to get Calendar to run it, see Execute an AppleScript via Calendar.

I acutually set it up as an automaker workflow that runs on login. seems to be working. been testing for a few days now.
