Creating a print ad in Pages

I'm tasked with creating an 8x10 (full page) black and white ad for either a magazine or newspaper. Is there a recommended Pages template for creating such an ad? Also, is there a way to convert the finished product to black and white? Thanks for any and all help.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

A template for an ad? Do all ads look alike?

Just set the page size in Page set-up > Manage custom sizes

To ensure the ad is strictly black and white with no color Print to pdf and convert the pdf with the ppropriate filter in ColorSync Utility in your Utilities Folder inside the Applications folder.
