Battery

Everytime I hook up my iPod Touch 5th Generation it acts like its gonna boot up again but then it just turns the screen black and acts like its dead again. I have important stuff on it. PLEASE HELP ME.

Try:

- To make a backup by connecting to your computer and then

iOS: How to back up and restore your content

You may not be able to make a backup and yur iPod may be erased in order to restore the iPod to operation. in that case you will have to restore from an existing backup

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
