how do i install printer (provided as disc) onto mac book air?
Just bought a Cannon printer. How do I install the printer without using the discs provided?

Follow the directions provided with the printer's user manual.
Be sure the printer is connected to the computer and turned on. Open Printing & Scanning preferences. Click the Add [+] button to add a printer. A dialog should appear with your printer listed. Select the printer and click on the Add button. If you don't have a local driver installed then OS X should automatically download and install one for you.
