Hello, I changed my password successfully. Now it will not let me purchase songs because I also got a security question wrong and it disabled my account

What is the deal? I finally changed my password successfully and tried to purchase a few songs. Despite my ability to enter my account I was asked two more security questions before I could make the purchase. Lucky me; I missed one...several times to lock me out of my account. Now, as try to send a message to customer support, it refuses access telling me that my browser is now not supported. I WILL NOT download Safari just to get access to my account. What is wrong with these people?
