I have a 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, can i put 2 8gb of ram it total of 16 Gigs??

hello everyone if someone can help me, I have a Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo

and i Use this Laptop for DJing, i Basicly want to Upgrade it to the MAX what is the Limit on Everything

so far i never had an issue what i have now is a 250Gb Hard Drive (30gb of free space left) and 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3

what can i do? and im running on the lastest OSX 10.8.4

what hard drive brand sould i get? and is anyone eles running this on OS X 10.8.4 .... so far its running smooth 4 me but then agaian i just Updated it last night

I have the same late '08 MBP (15" in my case) -- 8 GB max RAM.


I've been running 10.8.4 since it was released; zero issues.


On the HD, I'd suggest a 256GB SSD to see a noticeable responsiveness improvement when reading/writing, coupled with putting your 250 GB HDD into the optical drive bay. I did the HDD move with a $50 MCE optibay kit/bundle that included an external enclosure for the Superdrive -- lets you still have a DVD drive available via USB for the rare times your need one.
