Aug 28, 2013 6:26 AM in response to randers4by JonathanCurry82,When I visit icloud.com, it brings me to this standard iPhone "set up icloud on this device" which then refers you back to my phone settings. I see no way to delete it from icloud.com.
I have also attempted to turn off icloud calendars, which says it will delete all calendar information. But when I turn it back on, all my old calendars are still there.

Aug 28, 2013 7:56 AM in response to JonathanCurry82by randers4,You need to go to icloud.com from a computer browser, not from an iOS device. Once there, you can delete a calendar by clicking Edit on the left sidebar above the calendars list, clicking to the right of the calendar you want to delete, then choosing Delete Calendar (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfbbb36ac). This is permanent, and will delete the calendar from all your devices.
(To answer your other question, if you turn off calendars on your iOS device and choose delete at the prompt, it will only delete them from your device, not from iCloud. They would reappear when you turned calendars back to on.)
