I bought a Macbook Pro mi-2012 with 256 GB SSD. Can I install Power Nap on it or not? I have of course bought Mountain Lion and installed it.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

The problem of Power Nap is that it requires a special firmware. As you have a SSD (flash storage is a SSD without enclosure), you shouldn't have any problem to use Power Nap, but Apple only allows it in Late 2010 and newer MacBooks Air, and in MacBooks Pro with Retina display, Macs that come with flash storage. Until Apple releases a firmware update, you can't use Power Nap
