Problems with installation of Label Printer Brother QL710 W

I have bought today a Brother QL-710 W bar code printer. My MAC reconginses the printer and want's to install the driver automatically, finds the software however comes back with an error message: Can't install the software for the Brother QL-710W because it is not curretnly available from the Software Update.

I have installed the drivers on my MAC - where do I find these and can I install the drivers "by hand".

Try Resetting the Printing System, then add the printer again:

This solved my problem, too, although I must admit, I was dubious at first. 😉 I'm running OS X Lion (10.7), and after resetting the printer system, I was able to quickly add the Brother QL-710W label printer, as well as re-add an Epson Artisan 837 printer. Thanks for the tip!
