Apple ID Scam?

I received this email this morning. I believe it to be a scam. But how is it sent from an apple.com email address?

Subject: Warning! your apple ID has been frozen temporarily

Hello,
We have noticed that you tried to login to your account from a restricted country Thats why our security system froze your account, we apologize for any inconvenience but you have to verify your identity by updating your information,
Please click on the following link to update your information: update Now >.
This is an automated message. Please do not reply to this email. If you need additional help, visit Apple Support.
