i just updated my IPOD touch and i lost all my data, i would like to know if there is a way to have back all the data

Where is all of your data? What data?
You should have been syncing the ipod to your computer regularlry, so everything should be on your computer.
i was syncing in my comptuer but it got crashed ,i looked at my itune, its empty ,i meant by the data, music, my notes etc....

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
