I had this problem on my imac, but not my ipad. In desperation I completely shut down my imac waited half a minute turned on and eureca facebook is back, might be worth a try.

I have the same problem. I tried to unable my rooter firewall and added an exception for Face Time in the OS X firewall, but I am still not able to register for Face Time. Also I remember I used it before. Maybe it was bevore I changed my Apple ID email adress? I'm using by sure the right connecting data, I used the same for this spport forum and checked it at https://appleid.apple.com

What could I try further?

Oh wonder!

The tipp of jupiejupie was the right one. After restarting my MacBook Pro, Face Time is working like it should before. I have no clue where the problem was, but it seems solved (at least fort the moment).
