How do I continue a suspended iTunes installation?

Today I was going into my iTunes on my computer and it said that an update was available. I clicked to start, but then I cancelled the installation. When I did that, the iTunes shortcut disappeared from my desktop and I can't get onto iTunes at all. I tried downloading iTunes again but it said I couldn't because the most recent update was suspended.

Hey musicfreak8920,

Thanks for the question. The best solution will be to completely remove iTunes and related components, then reinstall. The following article will help you through that process:

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Once uninstalled, you can install directly from this link:

iTunes 11.0.5

Thanks,
