Where can I find free iBooks Author templates?

Search the App store...but it will be limited. Its far easier to spend some time learning how to make your own.

There are many posts on this forum which will show in a search..read a few and start editing one of Apples freebies.

You be an expert within a few days.

Have a look at www.yoobe.co.za. You will find free-to-use templates there.

This is something I recently came across for free templates. I downloaded the cookbook template and it worked well.

Your website and templates?

You forgot to mention "they" will not allow downloads.... unless you give an email...or that it costs $19.99 per template. Jumsoft do 20 templates for the same costs!

Why are you saying that it is a scam because they ask for an email in exchange for a template? Are you suggesting they will not give you the template? I would be happy to exchange an email for a freetemplate but i wanted to understand what you are insinuating. what do you mean it is hacked site?

When I used the link and clicked on Free there was nothing showing except the loading spinner ....which never ended. Reloaded and tried the Photography link which was OK...

Just tried today and the site is fully functional dont know if it was my machine or what!

I did not try anything free, I get wary of new sites being advertised in targetted forums and such and wanting email address's.

I make my own template, $20 for one template seems expensive to me there are apps in the store offering templates far less expensive, as do Jumsoft and I have no connection with them other buying their set when iBA first came out.

"Templates for iBooks Author" is a free app offerring 10 templates free! their next version offers 20 I think for $10

I think my next project should be a website offering templates a $3 each ! So far I have created 150.... 🙂
