QuickTime Pro is not a separate application. A Pro key just unlocks the extra features of QuickTime Player and the QuickTime browser plugin. Enter your key in the Registration section of QuickTime Player 7. If the Pro labels have gone from the menu items, then your key is correctly registered and you should be good to go.

I have purchased Quick Time 7Pro but I am only being given Quick Time 7 . WHY?????

Because only QT 7 can be upgraded for "Pro" use. The "Pro" registration code allows the QT 7 Player to access a number of editing features which are not available to either the QT X or the standard QT 7 players. This includes the ability to export/transcode files to any compression format compatible with your system's QT codec component configuration—including many legacy an third-party formts; mask, composite, and/or layer content; create picture-in-picture or pictutre-with-picture content; mix up to 99 tracks of various data types; create reference files/pseudo-playlists; customize content for specific purposes like quick start web files, export content for optical "data disc" playback on computers, apply rudimentary effects (e.g., alpha gain, brightness/contrast, ColorSync, HSL balance, and/or RGB balance adjustments; blurs; edge detection, emboss, and/or general convolution filters; sharpen; and/or colot style, color tint, film noise, and/or lens flare a la "Groundhouse" special effects); etc. In short, while QT 7 may not always be the best app for playing the most modern forms of multimedia, it remains the product of more than a decade of QT evolution and most QT "heavy users" were/are simply unwilling to give up these capabilities for a new QT X player which is still in its developmental infancy. QT 7 Pro is still the best $29 utility investment for imaginative users who don't want or need to use FCP to make "quick" edits/adjustments. The main problem here is that only a limited number of QT 7 Pro users take full advantage of all the things this utility offers.
