Apple TV, Cannot find TV Shows.

The same happened to me :-( terribly annoying when you invite a group of people to watch the last Rivals show and have nothing "to show" :-( no restart or even reset would work :-(((

I am having the same problem, started today first seen at 2:04 PM EST (but this is my first time checking today). Everything was working/displaying normally at 11:53 PM EST last night.

I found a similar issue reported in 2011. Apple Support at that time recommended a cold reboot (remove all cables, wait 30 seconds, plug back in all cables). This did not resolve the issue.

For the sake of completeness, here is an image of the issue.

One more detail, in case Apple Support stops in: I am able to play TV shows normally if streamed from a Mac running iTunes on my network.

I have the same problem. At least it is not just me.

No TV icon on my Apple TV 3 with latest update. Fingers and toes crossed that Apple will fix this soon. Same problem. Just adding my voice.

Same problem for me in CH trying to access TV shows from US store....son watched it earlier today without issue....

I have the same problem...I was just using my TV streaming last night. Now I can't. Cold reboot and multiple restarts haven't fixed it. I sure hope it's back later tonight so my wife and I can watch our shows we paid good money for...

As I mentioned in one of the other threads on this subject, I've talked to Apple Support and they say the problem is on their end. No need to do any resets or anything else - when they fix it, you'll see the icon again.

In the meantime, if you can download what you want to watch onto a computer, you should be able to watch using Home Sharing.

the workaround doesn't work. i can't access my purchased TV items on the itunes store via my macbook air. When I click TV Shows it just shows music.

Today I have the same problem: TV shows icon is gone from my icons. I have to wait for download on itunes on other device and then I can start viewing from apple tv through local network.

Hello, I have the same problem in France on apple tv 3. I am unable to enter my purchased tv series. I get there with ipad but not on Apple TV . a solution? a bug? should I reinstall Apple TV ?
