I downloaded an audio file, but as a newbie to iphones, I don't know how/where to find it now. Where do I find it? It looked like it was working just fine from the website, but now in my iphone, I don't know where it is.

Just so you realize, there is no way to put music on the phone except through iTunes. You can listen to music from web sites, or streaming music, but to install music on the phone, the only option is to download music to iTunes on the computer and sync.

Hmmmm....I can't download anything? I'm just thinking about your comment.....But I downloaded an ebook from a website. I thought it happened "directly" from the website. Or did you just mean audio? Or did my ebook not get downloaded 'directly' but rather, unknown to me, go through something else?
Ohhhhh! I AM a newbie, aren't I--good grief. So how do I do that ChrisJ4203? Or did I do that already without realizing it when I thought I downloaded the audio file to my iphone. Do I search around itunes now? I have never even used itunes before. Sorry to be so backwards.
Not sure what you did but you can't download anything to an iPhone directly from a website. What do you think you downloaded?

You cannot download to the phone. You would need to go to the website on your computer, then download the file, add it to your iTunes library and then sync the phone.

Thanks paulcb. I didn't know that I couldn't do that directly. I thought, using my iphone, that I downloaded an AAC file from a website. I see that it can also be downloaded as an MP3.
From a non commercial website that offers free downloads of various things, in epub format as well as AAC and MP3.
Oh, hubby just came home and told me that the file I'm intersted in would be too big to download into my iphone anyway.
Actually, that would have nothing to do with it, again since you cannot download the files directly to the iPhone. Have a nice day.

I agree to Razmee's issue, I downloaded songs from the 'Make Sound Music Downloader', i can play them offline only in the app, but can't even transfer through Xender or Send Anywhere.
