Missing "TV Shows" icon from Home screen on 2nd generation Apple TV on software 5.3, any advice?

I just turned on my Apple TV today and when I left the Netflix app, returning to the home screen my "TV Shows" icon is missing. I have the latest software update 5.3. I checked online and it says I shouldn't be about to hide or move this icon. I have restarted the Apple TV. Unplugged it. Turned home sharing off and on. And the icon is still missing. Did I accidentally hide it somehow?

Any advice on troubleshooting steps I'm missing or if this is a new software issue would be helpful.

The one thing I haven't tried is a master reset as it's a pain. I'm doing it now. I know try again later but I've paid quite a bit for on going shows to download and watch. I don't have cable or satellite and I'd just assume own the products. But now at the moment I have no access to the current or past programs and am a little bothered by this. Certainly not the end of the world, but I do expect the product to work especially with what it all costs.

As I mentioned in one of the other threads on this subject, I've talked to Apple Support and they say the problem is on their end. No need to do any resets or anything else - when they fix it, you'll see the icon again.

In the meantime, if you can download what you want to watch onto a computer, you should be able to watch using Home Sharing.
