my i pod shuffle is not recharging and it is definitely plugged in properly i am also not able to transfer my new updated downloads to the shuffle the old system was so much friendlier interface easy to recognize what to do can there be a step by step guide or assistance

I have similar issue. The charging light remain orange after 3 hours. When i try to open after unplug from the computer, its fail to open.
May i know how long it take for a full charging on first time?
battery not recharging its been plugged in for hours why no green charged light?
