Suddenly my apple tv isn't showing tv shows as well as my itunes on my computer isn't showing them as well.

I had this same problem and after performing a factory restore, not reset, restore all went back to normal.
My Apple TV shows the TV Shows I purchased but not my iTunes?
Same here - I have shows that I have downloaded that can't be seen in iTunes unless I go to "list" view, but I can see them fine on Apple TV.
Apple TV shows them, iTunes doesn't (unless I got to "list" view)
