Q: How to change the language for movies rented at German iTunes, watching in Denmark?

I live in Denmark, but my iTunes account is in Germany. Furthermore I want to watch movies in English. Can I buy / rent movie from German iTunes and somehow change the language to english or other? I prefer to watch movies in an original language..

Thanks for help!

    Welcome to the Apple Community.

If the movie file has multiple languages that are supported by the Apple TV then you can switch language by pressing and holding the centre button on the remote once the movie has started. this will bring up the chapter menu and also give access to other languages if they are there.

I know this is almost a year old, but I'd like to know the same thing. It seems the answer is that we can't do anything, but I'd rather ask.

I'm from Brazil, living in France for my studies. I wanted to buy a movie, but it's only in french and I prefer the original language, in this case, english. Is it possible to buy a different version, or does the country you're in dictate that?

    Thanks for your time.

If you have not yet found the answer, it is here: Change language settings for iTunes Store videos - Apple Support

You can change the audio language and subtitle language of videos purchased/rented from iTunes if the video has alternate languages available.

You can see the available languages before you purchase/rent by reading the description page all the way to the bottom.

It has to do with what is licensed for that location. You can't access said store when you are in another country for the same reason.
