Itunes can't read the content of my ipod!

First off, I've only had my Ipod for a little over a month. But all of a sudden...UH OH...I tried to listen to music on it, but it was skipping to the next song, and continuously doing that over and over so not one second of music could be played. My photos didn't show up either. Then I reset it and plugged it into my computer to find that Itunes couldnt "read to contents of my ipod". It told me to do the ipod updater. I did. That didn't work.

PLEASE HELP! Music is my passion. I listen to my Ipod 24/7. IM LOST WITHOUT IT!

Well when iPOd starts skipping and all, and the music doesn't skip on iTUnes, then you need to run iPod updater and restore the iPod.

It told me to do the ipod updater. I did. That didn't work

What do you mean it didn't work? DId it restore the ipod and now you can't load songs on it or did the ipod updater not detect and restore the iPOd? If you get any error messages we need to know what they are word for word with error codes.

YES YES YES! i got my ipod up and running! all i did was search my computer for the ipod updater i downloaded and opened it up again. By doing this...my ipod was set to factory settings (FINALY) and can play songs and shows up on iTunes!

i dont know why it wasn't working earlier.

Its been awhile since I been on windows 2000 but in XP atleast the iPod updater will be found in start button>All Programs>iPod. you will see the latest listed first (03-23-2006) then a listing saying "Previous updaters" which will contain the updater that came with your iPOd when you first bought it and all other updaters you have downloaded

Id recommend keeping the iPOds software up to date with the latest updater. Your nano should have software version 1.1.1 You can find out what version of software it has by going to settings>about on the nano

Itunes can't read the content of my ipod!
