Q: Airport card

Airpost card working (shows grey incon), but not connecting to network. Haven't heard of airport card malfunctioning. Is there a way to test for that possibility? How? --Despirate

iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.10), Airport card is five years old.

I would suggest running the Apple Hardware Test to determine if your Mac's AirPort card has had any hardware failures.
