Q: I just did a restore from icloud and the 600+ pics from my camera roll are gone, what can I do

How can I get my pics from my camera roll when they didn't appear after an Icloud restore.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

    Have you given them enough time to reappear.

    I had this same issue twice. The first time, it erased 2 months of photos and I couldn't find a way to retrieve them. The next time, it erased the last 6 months of photos, but miraculously restored the first missing group. I honestly have no idea what to do and none of the recommended tricks in other forums have worked for me. My photos were set to save to iCloud, so they're theoretically out there, somewhere.
